DUAL DIAGNOSIS (Co-Occurring Disorders)

Pioneer’s commitment to providing high-quality dual diagnosis care is illustrated through our integrated psychiatry and substance abuse addiction program. Our dual diagnosis services provide simultaneous assessment of psychiatric and substance abuse co-morbidity. We emphasize on acute stabilization and engagement in an ongoing process of stabilization and recovery.

Dual Diagnosis (Co-occurring Disorder) Treatment: This treatment approach helps people recover by offering both mental health and substance abuse services at the same time and in one setting.

The Dual Diagnosis (Co-occurring Disorders) Program is an inpatient rehabilitation program for chemically dependent people who in addition may have a mental illness such as major depression, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety and others.

Our treatment facilities provide a safe, supportive, structured and nurturing environment that addresses the primary symptoms of each patient, as well as identifying and beginning to resolve the emotional issues that have contributed to the development and maintenance of the disorder. Our treatment program is tailored to the unique needs of each participant.
